Four Waterfowl Subjects: Scaling Down, 1917, published state of 150 (Paff, 120); Black Ducks at Dusk, 1924, published state of 150 (Paff, 239); Darkening Sky, 1925, proof F-2 (Paff, 253); and Lone Pintail, 1930, published state of 150 (Paff, 303). Each signed "FrankWBenson." in pencil l.l. Etching and drypoint on paper, plate sizes to 4 7/8 x 6 3/4 in., unmatted, unframed. Condition: Some margins with deckled edges, pencil annotations l.l., fingerprints to margins and old hinges to the verso of Darkening Sky, tape/hinge residue to upper corners of Black Ducks.

Provenance: Descended within the family of the artist.
