From an important violin by itinerant luthier Vincenzo Panormo (Lot 1076, Estimate $60,000-90,000) crafted in Paris on the cusp of the French Revolution, to one of only a handful of Gibson ES-350 TDN electric guitars (Lot 1012, Estimate $8,000-12,000) produced in the tumult and optimism of 1962 America, these instruments endure and transcend their beginnings, and may be even more relevant today than the days they were made.
