Cream-glazed Tripod Censer, China, 19th century, ding-form with straight neck and banded mouth rim, resting on three hollow tubular legs, two banded looped handles on mouth rim, decorated with impressed meander bands around belly and handles, the glaze with allover crackling, ht. 7 5/8 in.
Provenance: Mary Andrews Wolff Collection since 1950, purchased from Duncan & Duncan, Washington DC; then by descent to the present owner.
