Blue and White Ginger Jar with Carved Wood Cover, China, Kangxi, bulbous, decorated with a qilin standing among rolling waves in two panels below a meander band around mouth, a double ring on base, the domed cover with openwork plum alternating with lingzhi designs above a meander band, inlaid with agate floral roundel on top, overall ht. 9 1/4, jar ht. 8 1/8 in.
