Signed and dated "Benn. 61" l.r., titled in an inscription on the frame backing, with a deaccession label from The New Britain Museum of American Art, Connecticut, affixed to the frame backing.
Oil on canvas, 30 x 36 in. (76.2 x 91.4 cm),framed.
Condition: Canvas rippling, stretcher marks, surface grime.

Framed dimensions are 40 x 46 x 2 in.
Because of the labels and inscription on the frame backing cardboard, which has been tacked to the stretcher for a very long time, it was not removed to examine the back of the painting to avoid any possible damage.
