Gallé Cameo Glass Table Lamp, Nancy, France, c. 1910, dome shade decorated with crimson roses on a satin ground, tapered base with conforming decoration, set on a circular base, marked "Gallé" on shade, single socket, ht. 21, shade dia. 9 1/4 in.
Note: Émile Gallé was a French artist and designer who worked in glass, and is considered to be one of the major innovators in the French Art Nouveau movement. Noted for designing art glass and furniture, he was a founder of the École de Nancy design movement.
Small chip to rim of shade. Some minor areas of cameo loss to shade. European plug and socket.
