Antique Emerald and Diamond Ring, set with an emerald-cut emerald measuring approx. 10.58 x 10.27 x 6.79 mm, framed by old European-cut diamonds, approx. total diamond wt. 2.25 cts., platinum and gold mount, size 6 1/4.
Note: Accompanied by AGL document no. 1105196, dated November 25, 2019, stating that the origin is Colombia, minor traditional clarity enhancement.
Lots 9, 25, and 26 are from the estate of Mary Weld Pingree (1901-1978),the founder of the Pingree School in South Hamilton. She was the heir to the Weld estate and was called "Boston's richest girl" by newspapers in the 1910s.
