Note: This lot was originally suspended from Lot 25.
Accompanied by GIA report no. 2205741369 stating that the diamond is K color, VS2 clarity.
Lots 9, 25, and 26 are from the estate of Mary Weld Pingree (1901-1978),the founder of the Pingree School in South Hamilton. She was the heir to the Weld estate and was called "Boston's richest girl" by newspapers in the 1910s.
