Dreicer & Co. Platinum and Diamond Sautoir Necklace, c. 1910s, the flexible chain composed of bezel-set old European-cut diamonds, three plaques of floral design set with single and old European-cut diamonds, approx. total wt. 11.00 cts., unsigned, in original fitted box.
Note: Lot 26 was suspended from this necklace.
Lots 9, 25, and 26 are from the estate of Mary Weld Pingree (1901-1978),the founder of the Pingree School in South Hamilton. She was the heir to the Weld estate and was called "Boston's richest girl" by newspapers in the 1910s.
