Signed "M. Woodward" l.r., inscribed, dated, and titled "59 #59 c. 1908/..." in inscriptions on the reverse and on a label from Lagakos-Turak Gallery, Haverford, Pennsylvania, affixed to the reverse.
Oil on canvas laid down on pressed paperboard, 8 3/8 x 10 1/4 in. (21.2 x 25.8 cm),framed.
Condition: Fine vertical lines of craquelure l.c., scattered tack holes near edges, surface grime.
Estimate $1,500-2,000
The craquelure is present but stable. Nothing visible under UV. The work might benefit from cleaning.
