Oil on panel, 33 1/4 x 27 in. (84.5 x 68.6 cm),framed.
Condition: Drying cracks, a few areas of minute paint loss, wear to upper edge.

A handwritten inscription on an unattributed label affixed to the frame reads, "Conditioned/and/Oiled/April 1936/H.F.M."
Some very fine retouch to the foreground cabbage and to the lavender dress. A rectangular area of very fine craquelure/alligatoring in the background behind the figure group.
Framed dimensions are 47 x 40 1/2 x 4 1/4 in.
