Condition: Craquelure.
N.B. The names of the horses and their owners are inscribed on the recto of the frame below the image of their respective horse. Pages 140-142 of Joseph Smith Fletcher's 1902 The History of the St. Leger Stakes, 1776-1901 (London: Hutchison & Co.) are affixed to the frame, along with a typed list of the names of the horses and their owners.
