Condition: Scattered minor retouch, unfinished details of neck and collar sketched in charcoal.
Provenance: The Stebbins family collection, Massachusetts.

The sheet has conserved and recently backed (see images) to stabilize a presumably brittle sheet and to stabilize tears and losses along the lower edge. There are tiny dots of retouch plus fills to losses at the lower edge.
The frame is 12 3/4 x 14 3/4 x 1 1/4 in.
