Oil on panel, 20 x 26 1/8 in. (50.8 x 66.3 cm),framed.
Condition: Hewn panel, probably pieced together, beveled on three sides, split to panel at c.r. side of recto including a surface loss (1/8 x 1 in.) along the crack, scattered minor abrasions, varnish inconsistencies, surface accretions, and grime.
N.B. This work is a copy after the composition currently in the collection of the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium, Brussels. It was copied numerous times. The version at hand was probably painted in the 17th century.
