Maori artifacts from a Massachusetts collection, together with Hawaiian, Fijian, and Melanesian items, represent Oceanic offerings. African Congolese sculpture and weaponry, most of which acquired from the Brussels dealer Marc Felix are consigned from an Upstate New York collection. Native American artifacts; Plains beadwork, catlinite pipes, a rare Mississippi period stone effigy pipe, historic Eskimo and Northwest coast artifacts, including a Chilkat blanket and seal-form grease bowl are complemented by a  collection of mostly contemporary Southwest pottery, Navajo textiles and silver and turquoise jewelry. A very early and important Classic Phase Navajo serape from the William H. Claflin collection, Belmont, MA, highlights the textile offerings.
