Edward Weston (American, 1886-1958)
Kelp, 1930. Signed and dated l.r., numbered "12/50" l.l., both in pencil on the mount, titled, dated, and inscribed "...11K/1930/15.00" in pencil and signed or inscribed "T Ed Weston" in ballpoint pen, both on the verso of the mount. Gelatin silver print, image size 7 1/2 x 9 1/2 in. (19.0 x 24.1 cm),framed.
Condition: Pale foxing to the mount, very subtle silvering to dark areas primarily at edges.
Provenance: The Stebbins family collection, Massachusetts, purchased from Ted Weston, grandson of the artist.

The foxing to the mount is much more prominent to the verso, but there is tiny, pale foxing on the recto of the mount as well. The image itself is unaffected. There are no additional issues to report beyond what has prviously been noted.
The framed is 17 1/4 x 17 1/4 x 1 1/4 in.
