Edward Weston (American, 1886-1958)
Rock - Point Lobos, 1929. Signed and dated l.r., initialed and numbered "8/50" l.l., both in pencil on the mount, titled in pencil on the verso of the mount. Gelatin silver print, image size 7 x 9 3/8 in. (17.8 x 23.8 cm),framed.
Condition: Scratches to the emulsion u.l., minor silvering to dark areas at edges.
Provenance: The Stebbins family collection, Massachusetts; Skinner, Inc., American & European Works of Art, September 24, 2010, Sale 2517B, Lot 283.

There are areas of silvering out (but no discoloration beyond this),primarily to the side edges. The mount is cream-colored. There are no further issues to report. The frame measures 17 x 17 1/4 x 1 1/4 in.
