Sudan Nude, c. 1930, a posthumous printing by Sal Lopes, commissioned Horst P. Horst. Both dry stamped "Hoyningen-Huene/©HORST" l.r., and inscribed, titled, dated, numbered, and signed "From The Collection of/Horst/SUDAN NUDE 1930's/by G.H. HUENE/(S.L.)/P/P/(only 4 approved & signed plat. prints from this neg.)/Platinum Palladium" in pencil on the verso. Platinum palladium print on Strathmore Script watermarked paper, image size 9 3/4 x 6 3/4 in. (24.8 x 17.1 cm),sheet size 14 x 11 in. (35.6 x 27.9 cm),unmatted, unframed.
Condition: Good.
Provenance: From Horst P. Horst to the current owner.
N.B. Model, romantic partner, collaborator, and lifelong friend, Horst P. Horst inherited Hoyningen-Huene's collection and reproduction rights after his death.
