Full Kit High Post Alidade, Washington, DC, 13-in. scope mounted to a U-shaped bracket with vertical arc and vernier, central rope veneered column, pierced base with dual spirit levels and a trough compass, all housed in its original fitted wooden case with level, brass rule, and sunshade, and a canvas-wrapped mahogany field table.
Note: Mr. Miller believes this instrument was used by the U.S. Coast Guard.
