Crewel Flamework Wool and Silk Pocketbook, 18th century, the exterior stitched with a diamond and cross pattern in shades of yellow, red, and green, bound with green wool tape, opening to two compartments with wavy flaps, lined in blue/green silk, stitched "WG1769" under one flap, ht. 4 1/4, wd. 7 3/8 in.
Exterior stitching has some losses along with scattered holes and spots of fraying in the edge binding.
