Two Meissen Porcelain Vases, Germany, 20th century, in the Empire style and of similar shape with scrolled handles, one with cobalt ground and polychrome enameled floral cartouche to one side; the other on white ground with bands of cobalt flanking a floral center to each side, ht. 11 1/2 in.; underglaze crossed swords marks.

Cobalt vase: Extensive hairline crack; scattered gilt loss to footrim.
Cobalt banded: vase; In very good condition throughout with only slight gilt wear along footrim.
