George III Mahogany and Mahogany-veneered Secretary Bookcase, England, early 19th century, pine and oak secondary woods, upper case, cornice with dental molding, two glazed doors open to interior with three adjustable shelves, lower case with pull-out writing compartment with six small drawers and six pigeonholes above three long drawers, set on French feet, ht. 82 1/2, shelf dp. 10, writing surface ht. 30 1/2, wd. 36 1/2, dp. 19 1/2 in.

Replaced brasses and glass, age cracks to both sides of lower case, small drawers do not fully close, cracks to writing surface. Top of lower case with water damage to finish.
