Portrait of Philipp Ludwig Finckh and Sophie Magdalene Godelmann. Unsigned, inscribed "Philipp Ludwig Finckh/Stuttgart" on an envelope within the composition, sitters identified in a later inscription on the reverse. Oil on canvas, sight size 14 5/8 x 19 1/4 in., framed. Condition: Retouch, craquelure, horizontal canvas seam along bottom edge, mounted to Masonite.
Provenance: Descended within the sitters' family.
