Note: Philip and Kelvin Laverne were a father and son collaborative design duo best known for melding ancient Chinese, Egyptian, classical, and chinoiserie motifs with uncommon techniques. They antiqued and embellished decorative household objects employing acid-etching and by burying objects in a proprietary patination soil.
