Silver Lustre Resist-decorated Jug, England, c. 1811, bulbous shape with wide foliate lustre border above a polychrome enameled taverner seated with pipe and ale to either side, below the spout inscribed and dated in lustre "Joseph Lovridge Wheatley Oxon. 1811," ht. 8 1/4 in.

Firing line under the top terminal of the spout. Lower body with an approximate 8" hairline; some flaking to the enamels; stained interior.
