New Guinea Canoe Stanchion, Dampier Straits, Tuam Island, elongated form, the domed base supporting an oblong pierced shaft ended by a circular motif, all surmounted by a crescent-shaped terminal and decorated with an incised curvilinear design, with metal stand, ht. 43 in.
