Plains Pipe Tomahawk, third quarter 19th century, the blade with heart cutout, the ash file-branded haft decorated with seven bands of brass tacks, with bone mouth piece, and pierced three times for attachments, with Heye foundation collection number 20/4899, with inventory number 156-19 painted on the bottom of stem, (a few tacks missing), lg. 21 1/4 in.
