Four parts bound in two octavo volumes, separate title pages for each part, engraved portrait frontispiece in volume one with inscription around the oval and Latin inscription in tablet, printed on laid paper with vertical chainlines, illustrated with five engraved maps and an additional engraved plate; this copy seems to be a mix of Teerink-Scouten 289 A and B, with aspects of both; bound in full crushed crimson morocco gilt extra by Root & Son, a.e.g., in a custom slipcase, ex libris Etta Mary Arnold Clark, with bookplates, title pages to third and four part shorter; washed; I: [port], A-U8, X4, Y1; II: A3, B-K8, L4, M2, A4, B-N8, O4; 7 1/2 x 4 1/2 in.
