Mahogany Pipe Box, attributed to the Goddard-Townsend School, Newport, Rhode Island, c. 1750-60, the arched and shaped back with shaped sides, the front corners with turned brass knob finials, over a single dovetailed butternut drawer with brass knob pull, with original iron hanging nail, original surface, ht. 19 3/4, wd. 4 3/4, dp. 4 3/4 in.
