Federal Mahogany and Satinwood-inlaid Two-part Dining Table, Massachusetts, c. 1800, comprised of two single drop-leaf ends, the tops with elliptic fronts, half-serpentine sides, and line-and-dart inlaid edges, above conforming aprons centering pointed oval inlaid panels, with string inlay detail and Greek key-inlaid lower border, all on square tapering legs, two of which swing to support the rectangular drop leaves, ht. 28 3/4, wd. 29, lg. open 79 1/2 in.
