Cast Iron Joseph Webb "The Free Masons Arms" Fireback, Boston, third quarter of the18th century, the arched top panel with central crest displaying three castles and a compass, within a foliate border with bird perched above, over a scroll inscribed "FOLLOW REASON," remnants of "SOLD BY JOSEPH WEBB BOSTON" signature along the bottom, (oxidized surface with losses),ht. 25 1/4, wd. 26 1/2 in.
