Underhammer Target Rifle Attributed to David Hall Hilliard, Cornish, New Hampshire, c. 1830s-40s, .38 caliber, walnut stock with engraved German silver fittings and patch box, and a silver eagle on the left cheek, octagonal barrel with peep sight, small star patterns stamped on the breech, and marked "REMINGTON," barrel lg. 28, overall lg. 45 in.
