U.S. Model 1860 Light Cavalry Saber, c. 1864, brass hilt with wire-wrapped leather grip, steel blade marked lightly on the ricasso "EMERSON/& SILVER/TRENTON/NJ" and "U.S./DFM/1864," with a steel scabbard, blade lg. 33 3/4, overall lg. 41 in.

Some wear on the grip, marking on the ricasso is light, blade is in good condition, and there is a ding near the drag on the scabbard.
