British Pattern 1829 Cavalry Saber Owned by Colonel Francis H. Beach, 7th US Cavalry, c. early 19th century, iron hilt with leather grip, steel blade and scabbard, blade lg. 34 1/2, overall lg. 41 1/2 in.

Note: With the sword is a note that states: "sword from the collection of Colonel Francis H. Beach, U.S. Cavalry, (Ret) presented to Mr. Ron Tunison by Colonel Beaches Great nephew, Lt. Col. Keith B. Hubbard, U.S. Army Infantry (Ret) July 4, 1997." Beach served in the 1st, 7th, and 3rd Cavalry.
