Polychrome Decorated Swordfish Sword, probably New England Coast, mid to late 19th century, the swordfish bill blade with various hand-painted motifs including two ships and a steamship on the water, an eagle with an American shield, a lighthouse, and a swordfish, the hilt carved with alternating light and dark wood and inlaid with a star motif, (wear, a couple of old repairs),lg. 41 in.
