Cobalt-decorated Tin-glazed Earthenware Tobacco Jar, 18th century, tall bulbous form decorated with a central medallion inscribed "TABAC/RAPE" flanked by Indians smoking long pipes, with brass lid marked "XI," (repair), ht. 9 1/2 in.
