Young & Sons Solar Transit Kit, no. 8545, 10-in. scope with spirit level below, aluminum vertical circle housing the brass circle with engraved silvered scale, solar attachment mounted to the calibrated arc that reads 0-80 with fine adjustment vernier, 3 1/2-in. engraved black horizontal compass dial with interior vernier, outer aluminum plate with opposing verniers, four-screw adjustable base, housed in its original fitted box stamped "8545," with accessories, ht. 15 in.
