Edmund Draper Surveyor's Transit, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, c. 1835, 10-in. scope with fine adjustment knob mounted to "A"-frame supports, 5 1/4-in. engraved silvered dial with seven-point star representing north, single vernier, dual spirit levels, and four-screw adjustable base with rectangular plate, housed in its original fitted walnut case.
