David and the Lion, plate 62 from the series The Bible, from the edition of 100, published by Tériade, Paris, 1958 (Cramer Books, 30). Initialed "M. Ch." in pencil l.r., numbered "85/100" in pencil l.l., signed within the plate. Etching with hand-coloring on paper, plate size 12 5/8 x 9 7/8 in. (32.0 x 25.0 cm),framed.
Condition: Gentle toning, possible mat burn, not examined out of frame.
Provenance: A private Massachusetts collection.
