Ink on paper, sight size 10 3/4 x 8 in. (27.3 x 20.3 cm),framed.
Condition: Uneven toning, cockling, handling creases, mat burn, scattered accretions.
Provenance: The estate of Robert Wynne, Massachusetts.

The drawing is marked on the back l.l. corner "42.864/Tchelitchew"
Significant toning both from light exposure over time and from acid backing, top edge of paper shows two lighter rectangular areas that mark where there are old hinges on the back, tiny scattered pale spotting. Hinges are now dried out and work is detached from the backing cardboard. Overall gentle rippling, Creases across the l.l. corner and on the right side edge about 2 inches up from the corner. Backing cardboard with a break in the middle which had been mended with cellophane tape which dried and fell off. It has been stabilized temporarily with masking tape as a stop gap measure.
