Nu assis, from the album Femmes, 1930, edition of 100, published by Éditions Artistiques Apollo, Paris (Buisson, I.30.35). Signed "Foujita" in pencil l.r., numbered "40/100" (possibly over a previous number) in pencil l.l. Etching with aquatint and hand-coloring on chine collé, image size 22 x 14 1/2 in. (55.8 x 36.8 cm),framed.
Condition: Unobtrusive toning (more apparent to supporting sheet),not examined out of frame.

Out of the frame the sheet measures 28 1/2 x 20 3/8 in., and is laid down. The image is gently toned within the opening of the mat window. There are pale pin-point fox marks to the margins, and a pale vertical stain to the figure's left thigh.
The frame measures 30 1/2 x 22 1/2 x 1 1/4 in.
