Mahogany and Bird's-eye Maple Veneer Two-drawer Worktable, probably Portsmouth, New Hampshire, early 19th century, the square top above a straight skirt with bird's-eye maple veneer drawerfronts flanked by inlaid panels, above square posts and delicate turned legs joined by a medial shelf with scalloped edge, ht. 30 1/4, wd. 16 3/4, dp. 16 1/4 in.
