Blue-painted Blanket Chest over Two Drawers, New England, c. 1800, hinged top with applied molding above a well and two thumb-molded drawers below, all on cutout bracket base, brasses appear original, ht. 40 1/4, wd. 37 1/4, dp. 18 3/4 in.

lid broke out and with associated repair - new hinges, narrow patches at back edge of top. drawers renailed (and top drawer with groove in upper drawer side). Other minor imperfections - chips to feet, etc. old blue paint.
