"God Bless the United States of America" Enamel-decorated Decanter, possibly Amelung Glass Manufactory, late 18th century, the blown body with ground and fluted decoration, one side with "God Bless/The/United States/Of/America" against a white background within a wreath border, the other side with spreadwing eagle and "E PLURIBUS UNUM" on a ribbon above its head, remnants of gilt decoration above the enamel devices and on the sides, the ground pontil etched "28," ht. 9 in.
