Early Red-painted Chest over Drawer, Connecticut, c. 1700, the top with cleated ends above a well with till and single drawer below, the arch-molded case with applied lower molding on turned front feet and rear brackets, the facade of the case paint-decorated with floral blossoms and tendrils in white, black, and red, (minor restoration),ht. 30 1/2, wd. 31 1/2, dp. 18 1/2 in.
