Red-painted Walnut Turned-leg Kitchen Table, Pennsylvania, early 19th century the three-board cleated top fixed with turned pegs to the straight skirt with two drawers of differing sizes, joining turned swelled legs ending in large button feet, ht. 28 1/2, wd. 56, dp. 35 1/2 in.
Provenance: Kelly Antiques, Lexington, Kentucky.
Note: This table is purportedly dated 1801, carved into the interior of the back rail. The carving is indisctinct and incomplete, and this supposition is in doubt.
