Pair of Queen Anne Walnut Compass-seat Side Chairs, Massachusetts, c. 1740-60, each with spooned crest rail, vasiform splat, slip seat, and frontal cabriole legs ending in pad feet joined to the chamfered raking rear legs with turned stretchers, ht. 40 1/2, seat ht. 17 1/2 in.

one chair's front feet with platform worn away. Seat frame that doesn't appear to fit in photograph does indeed fit.
