Woven Beaded Watch Chain, probably upstate New York, c. 1833, with the text "Lucy Amanda Bullard/Married March 3, 1833" worked in black and blue beads and end decorations in red and black beads, fragments of silk bow attachment; Lucy Amanda Lawrence (1815-1843) married Nathan Bullard (1803-1889) on her eighteenth birthday, and died at the age of twenty-seven, her husband was the grandson of Revolutionary War veteran Jonathan Bullard, they were born in Vermont and lived in Perry, Springwater, and Moira, New York, 41 x 1/2 in.
