Two Framed Prints:The Right Half of the Frontispiece of the Vedute di Roma, c. 1748 (Hind, 2),partially identified within the plate, etching and engraving on paper, plate size 19 3/8 x 13 3/8 in. (49.2 x 33.8 cm); Veduta del Porto di Ripa Grande,1753 (Hind, 27vi/vi),identified within the plate, etching and engraving on paper, plate size 15 7/8 x 24 5/8 in. (40.2 x 62.4 cm).
Condition: Porto with toning and breaks to sheet along plate mark, not examined out of frames.
N.B. The Frontispiece was printed from a large plate. This was generally printed in two parts to create vertical images within the volume. The work presented here is an impression of the right-hand plate used for the composition.
