Two Early Silver Boxes, most likely 18th century, an unmarked oval snuffbox with engraved vase with tulips, roses, and grape clusters, monogrammed to underside, lg. 2 7/8; and a silver-mounted coconut box with an engraved tulip to the lid and inscription "The gift of TM to EM" to edge, ht. 1 7/8 in.
Sold to benefit the Clark Art Institute, Williamstown MA.

Each with age-typical surface wear and minor dents throughout. Oval box with shallow dents along each edge and small repair to one deeper dent/small break to one side of base.
